Julia's Essay

The game and the book are very similar. It made me realize how hard it actually was for the hobbits to travel to Rivendell. They had to go through a lot of trials and difficulties.
While traveling, the hobbits faced a lot of trials. They got attacked by bears, deers, and weird looking flying creatures.  While traveling through Bre Land I thought I could defeat a bear that was crossing through the road, but I was wrong. I ended up getting defeated by the bear and I had to get sent all the way back to Archet. I learned to be the kind of hobbit that hides behind everyone else and let them be the ones to get attack and defeat the sometimes unbeatable creatures.
From playing the game and reading the book it has made me get a visual image of what is actually going on. It makes reading the book more interesting because I feel like I’m actually involved in what is going on which is exactly how the game makes me feel also.
I realized that when all the hobbits get together and try and get through all the trials working as a team it makes everything so much easier, they all have each other’s backs in both the book and the game and when they all come together they were able to make it all the way to Rivendell, but it was not easy.
My life is also similar to the game because in the game you can’t give up you need to keep fighting your way through in order to succeed which is what you should do in life. Never give up.

The book and the game are similar. The places and things that are in the book are also in the game. It helps me to understand the book better when I can visually see it. I love playing the game. I think that it is very creative.
